Many people come to therapy believing something is wrong with them. What if the anxiety, self-doubt, or patterns you struggle with aren’t signs that you’re broken, but signs that you’ve been doing your best to adapt to difficult experiences?
Some people avoid confrontation not because they don’t care, but because conflict feels emotionally overwhelming. This same dynamic can show up with compliments too.
