Erick Corona, LMFT
* CLOVIS LOCATION *
I enjoy working with teens and young adults who are navigating trauma, substance use, suicidality and co-occurring mental health challenges. My areas of focus also include men’s issues, life transitions, oppositional defiance (ODD), acculturation and immigration-related stress, family conflict, racial identity, and school-related concerns.
Each of us develops patterns and ways of navigating the world that make sense given our experiences. You know yourself best—and my role as a therapist is to support you in understanding those patterns with greater clarity and compassion. My approach is grounded in person-centered and psychodynamic therapies. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to explore your internal world, deepen self-understanding, and strengthen your relationships, while staying connected to your authentic self. Together, we can create space for insight, healing, and meaningful change.
I am an empathetic therapist and clients often describe me as warm, engaged, and responsive—someone who meets them where they are while supporting their growth. When appropriate, I collaborate with families to support communication, resilience, and positive change.
I would be honored to support you in your therapeutic journey.
