What we value in a Supervisor:

We value a supervisor who is assertive, has the ability to make brave decisions, and is able to provide ample support and grace to train up amazing associates.

How we support you as a Supervisor:

We provide a platform and a supportive network for supervisors to supervise with ease.  We take care of the administrative side so that you can do the fun part of training associates. At this time working with a small caseload of your preferred clientele is not required but optional if desired.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree Required 

  • Licensed with BBS Required prior to first day of work, LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/PhD/PsyD all accepted

  • EMDR trained or willingness to be trained by the end of the 1st year of employment (PREFERRED)

  • Comfortable with or willingness to learn technology (Simple Practice, Google Drive, Google Chat, Google Meet)

  • Adhere to all Supervisor Regulations as specified by BBS

  • Willing to supervise children and adults

  • 2 yr commitment

  • $100 bonus for each month billing and notes completed on time

  • EMDR Part 2 Training and consulting fees paid for

  • Up to 5 weeks unpaid leave (office closure from Dec. 24-Jan 1 annually is required and included in the 5 weeks), as coordinated with the rest of the Clinical Supervision Team

  • Ability to set your own schedule (Upon Clinical Director approval)

  • Ability to work remotely as needed (Upon Clinical Director approval)

  • Medical, Dental and Vision health insurance available (only applies to full time employees, regularly working 20hrs+ weekly)

Job Type:

  • Part-time and Full-time positions available, number of associates you are willing to take on will be set during the interview process.

Pay:

  • Discussed during the interview process, competitive pay provided

Schedule:

  • Schedule will be set upon office availability, need, and your availability

  • Tele Supervision Options available upon Clinical Director approval

  • All Supervisors coordinate time off so that the supervision is covered by other supervisors during time off

Expected Hours Per Week:

  • 2-3 direct service hours of supervision, per supervisee weekly depending on individual, triadic or group supervision provided

  • 1-2 hours per supervisee allowable for non-direct service hours weekly as needed to complete job requirements for documentation and communication with staff

  • 1 hour Staff Meeting, monthly

  • 1 hour Supervisor Meeting, monthly

  • Be responsive to associates via chat/phone in a timely manner for supervision needs that exist outside of supervision hours (during business hours only)

Expected Tasks:

  • Provides direct, individual clinical supervision in addition to group supervision for unlicensed staff.

  • Monitor caseloads and ensure that supervisees comply with all clinical, legal and ethical practices. Review and co-sign supervisees’ progress notes, clinical forms and correspondences when indicated.

  • Provide ongoing, regular feedback and evaluation to clinicians on the quality and timeliness of their clinical work. Also solicits feedback from clinicians regarding supervision quality and whether supervisees' needs are being met.

  • Communicate any concerns about quality of clinician’s work to Clinical Director in a timely manner.

  • This position will work with the Clinical Director to identify policies, procedures, and training needs in order to continue to improve the associate training program.

  • Participate in interview process of any prospective associate

  • Participate in Clinical Supervisor portion of orientation training for supervisees.

  • Participate in Biannual Staff Review for any associate you supervise.

What to Expect After You Apply:

  1. After you apply, you will get a response within 48 hours from our admin team letting you know that we received your application and will be reviewing it.  

  2. Please allow 1 week for our staff to review your application and get back to you.  

  3. You will be notified either way and if our team would like to move forward in the interview process, they will contact you to set up a 30 minute introductory video call.  Feel free to ask any questions you may have at that time.  

  4. From there if you are selected to move forward you will be scheduled for a 2 hour in-person interview.
